I have deployed the program with a network bridge in Windows 8. How

should the two adapters be physically connected ? Our gateway is a

Cisco ASA 5510.

For bridge networking, one adapter shall be connected your gateway, another adapter is connected to local switch. There shall be no direct connection between the gateway and the switch.



However, since you have a cisco ASA 5510, you can setup a "mirroring port" in your gateway for pass-by deployment. In this mode, you don't need to change your current network topology.
