For your network, you need to setup a mirroring port in your core switch to do monitoring.
One adapter is enough for monitoring purpose, if you also want to block internet access, I recommend you to use two adapters (one for monitoring, another for blocking).
Please follow below steps:
1. Setup a mirroring port in your core switch to mirror the internet traffic. Please check our deployement examples: http://www.imfirewall.us/help/doc/deployment_example.htm
2. Connect your NIC to the mirroring port.
3. In "System Settings"->"Monitoring Settings" of WFilter, choose this adapter as the "monitoring adapter".
4. Now you should be able to monitor all computers internet activity, if you also need to block internet activity. Please do step 5-6.
5. Add another NIC in your computer. This NIC is connected a normal port in your switch.
6. In "System Settings"->"Monitoring Settings" of WFilter, choose the new adapter as the "blocking adapter".

How to deploy WFilter in my network?
Thank you for your reply
Please I read the document but unfortunately in my network I do not have
ISA server how I can made mirror port
I have 6 switches connect to port (1-2-3-4-5-6) in core switch and also
Wfilter server connect to port 7 in same switch
How to deploy WFilter in my network?
The ISA server is not required.
You only need to setup a mirroring port in your core switch.
As you said, you have 6 switches connected to (1-6) ports of the core switch, and WFilter server is connected to port 7.
Let's assume the cisco PIX is connected to port 8.
All you need to do is to setup a mirroring port:
1. source mirroring port should be "port 8"(the PIX port)
2. target mirroring port "port 7", (WFilter port).
