Can not monitor emails with WFilter

We are Unable to monitor EMails through Wfilter.

We are using pop and smtp protocols for outlooks and using lotus notes 8.5.

Please look into this issue and give a solution ASAP.

If your email server is in local network, to monitor emails, you need to:



1. Mirror the email server's traffic to WFilter computer.



2. Add the email server ip address into "Local Servers" in "System Settings"->"Monitoring Settings".



Please check.



If problem still exists, please tell me more about your network topology.

we didnt have mail server in our local network. we are using google mail services and configured the same in our outlooks.

Google mail traffic is encrypted by SSL encryption. We can not monitor it.



Only plain pop3/smtp/imap can be recorded by WFilter.



If you want to monitor employees email content, you need to make them use plain pop3/smtp/imap protocols. Encrypted email protocols can be blocked by WFilter in the blocking level settings.
