WFilter proxy is blocked by windows firewall.

I enabled the "proxy server" in WFilter for monitoring purpose.



However, client computers will lose internet connection when the windows firewall is enabled in my 2008 server.



How can I fix this issue?

You need to add the proxy server port into firewall's exception.



command syntax:



netsh advfirewall firewall add rule name=WFilterProxy dir=in action=allow protocol=TCP localport=8080
