"Block Uploading Files via Web Pages" does not work with uploading attachments in Gmail.

"Block Uploading Files via Web Pages" does not work with uploading attachments in Gmail. I've also tested it with Yahoo Mail and Hotmail and it works successfully but for some reason does not work with Gmail.



Please advise.

I guess your gmail is via HTTPS. HTTPS is encrypted HTTP protocol, and WFilter can not filter file uploading via HTTPS.

The solution is to block gmail completely. You may use "HTTPS black list" to block "*.google.com", so gmail can not be accessed.
