How the monitored data of WFilter is stored?

I was wondering about data. How is it stored? How long is it stored?

How much space will I need for data on the computer I am using?

I have 40 computers, do I need to install the software on each pc or do I install it on one to monitor the traffic?

If you're using WFilter file-based version, all monitored data will be stored to your hard disk as separated files. If you're using WFilter database version, all monitored data will be stored to your database.

The data will not be deleted until "auto deleting" is enabled in "System Settings"->"Log Management".

If the recording level is set to "High", each monitored computer will consume about 2-3 MB disk space per day by estimate. If you disable recording of emails and file transfers, the disk space will be less than 100KB per day per computer.

You only need to install WFilter in ONE computer to monitor the whole network. The WFilter computer shall be connected to a mirroring port of your switch.
