Is there a limit to how many subnets wfilter can monitor?

Postby mm00re » Thu Feb 09, 2012 7:47 pm

I wanted to confirm this because I have 3 subnets listed in System Settings>Monitoring Settings>network Definition>IP segments

I have this entered in the field

10.6.1.0/24

10.7.1.0/24

10.8.1.0/24

For some reason when I go to Query History logs and attempt to select the computers I am only given the choices for 10.7.1.0 and 10.8.1.0

Any ideas? I am using build # en.4.0.137

Thanks

There is no size limit of the "IP Segments" settings.

Please check "Policy Settings"->"User-computer table" to check whether there have computers from the "10.6.1.0/24" subnet.

If yes, please make sure "Enable Monitoring" of this subnet computers are checked, because only "monitored" computers are available for history query and report.

If not, please check:

1). Is traffic of "10.6.1.0" subnet mirrored to the WFilter computer?

2). The network topology, is there any possibility for "10.6.1.0" subnet bypass the monitoring?

If problem still exists, please email us the "IMSupport.zip" file which can be found in "Help"->"Support" of WFilter for us to check your settings, also let's know your network topology.
