If your network gateway is a windows computer, you can simply install WFilter in this gateway computer to work.

Otherwise, check below solutions:

Solution 1. Pass-by deployment.

"Pass-by deployment" is recommended because it does no change to your network topology, and it's easier to setup comparing to other solutions.

However, this solution requires a "port mirroring" switch or router. So the first step is to check whether your switch/router supports "port mirroring" feature.

If the answer is "yes", you can setup a mirroring port and connect the WFilter computer to the mirroring port for monitoring and filtering.

If not, you can consider to add a manageable switch or check other solutions.

Solution 2, Deploy WFilter in pass-through mode.

You can configure your computer as a network bridge with two network cards. Then by connecting this bridge computer between your router and first switch, it will be able to monitor and filter all computers/switches connected to this switch.

Check this guide: http://www.wfiltericf.com/support/WFilt ... bridge.htm

This solution needs a computer with two network cards, and your network topology shall be like "router - switch - computers".
