block mobile applications like gmail.facebook,skype

hi



i am using wfilter with accesspoint and i want to block gmail application facebook,skype for mobile users and they are able to access through application but not from browser so please give me solution for blocking mobile applications

Facebook and gmail apps are all using TLS protocol. To block them, you need to enable "HTTPS black list":

1. To block facebook, you need to block https "*facebook.com".

2. To block gmail, you need to block "*.google.com". This will lead to over blocking of google other services.

3. To block skype, you simple need to check "block skype" in "Messengers" of WFilter.
