Some month ago we bought the Wfilter application which is working normally but today we
have the need of monitoring others Instant Messenger (Chat applications)
but we don’t know how to add them to the monitoring list.
At the printscreen we could figure out that the WFilter application is
able to monitor many Chat Applications but we want to add more app that
are not listed, can you show us how to do that?

Monitoring of other instant messengers(chat applications)
It will be complicated if you want to monitor chat content for other messengers.
If you only want to monitor traffic and block certain messengers, you can add messenger protocols in "System Settings"->"Customize Protocols".
If you don't know the exact protocol for certain messengers, let me know the messenger names, we can help you to add it.

Monitoring of other instant messengers(chat applications)
But there is a way of monitor chat content for other Messengers?
Monitoring of other instant messengers(chat applications)
Monitoring chat content is complicated.
First, encrypted traffic can not be monitored. For example, if a messenger use TLS protocol to encrypt its traffic, it will be impossible to record it.
Second, different messengers use different protocols. To record a messenger, we need to write a special parser to parse its traffic. For example, to record MSN, we need to do certain research to find out how MSN pack its messages, then we need to write a parser to parse and record it.
Can I know the messenger name? Maybe we can help.
