Block Skype

Recently i found out Wfilter cannot block skype, i am able to block MSN and Yahoo

My company wish to control some of user able access to internet but not allow access skype and some of the PC have full access

What is Wfilter Solution?

Skype uses both UDP and TCP ports to connect. As a pass-by filtering product, WFilter only blocks TCP traffic.



To block skype, you also need to block internet UDP ports 1024-65534 in your router/firewall.
