Setting categories by list

Postby AFlowers » Tue Jun 21, 2011 2:11 pm

We discovered one of our users visiting adult sites. Many of these sites were in the wrong category (shopping, organization, food, etc.). I have to set the category for hundreds of websites. Is there any way to do this by a list?

If not, please consider adding a category selection box to the list of sites visited by a user. It would save us hours of time when having to change the category of many sites.

Thanks!

There is a feature named "add websites to a category" in "Categories List".

With this feature, you can add websites list to a certain category. So you don't need to edit them one by one.

To block adult websites, you also can enable "Url Keywords Filtering" to block certain keywords. It is very efficient to block websites not in our url database. Please check: How to block porn websites from network computers?

Anyway, we will make improvement on WFilter url database in next version of WFilter to cover more websites and auto-categorize new found websites.
