How to setup multiple blocking policies or blocking rules in WFilter?

Postby Lukmon » Fri Jul 22, 2011 1:50 am

I have a question: how to setup multiple policy or blocking rules in a full day on certain IP address?

For example the time 00:00-04:59 set to 'High', 05:00-11:59 set to 'Medium', 12:00-17:59 set to 'Low' and so on or different other settings.

You only can setup two blocking rules for a certain IP address.

Please follow below steps:

1). Add a blocking level "A", and set its "blocking time" to the first time range.

2). Add a blocking level "B", and set its "blocking time" to the second time range.

3). Edit blocking level "A", in "Blocking Time", choose "B" as the "Backup Level".

Done. Now level "B" will be applied when level "A" does not take effect.
