Can I access the wfilter from a remote pc that is at another location via the internet?



I have the wifilter installed on the server and have allowed remote access..



but was not sure if is only available within the network or if I can get to it from my main office.

The answer is "yes". Please follow below steps:



1. Enable "port forwarding" in your router to forward tcp port 9090 to the WFilter computer.



2. Now you can access WFilter from internet by url address: http://your_internet_ip_address:9090



3. If you don't have a static internet ip address, you can apply for a dynamic DNS, and access WFilter by the dynamic domain. Please check: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dynamic_DNS
