Windows backup fails since installing Wfilter on server 2008 R2. Error: Shadow copy timeout error (0x81000101)

Basically its a firewall issue, is there anything i can set in wfilter to allow backups to run?

We tested this issue in our lab with your settings. However, there is no problem of the windows backup in our 2008R2 server.

WFilter only monitor and filter internet traffic, while the windows backup is only a local file copying. So we think WFilter has nothing to do with this issue.

You can stop WFilter to check. Just click "Stop" in "System Setting"->"Monitoring Settings" to stop wfilter.
